Frother Q60 is a yellow to brownish yellow oily liquid with slightly odor. This product belongs to special froth flotation reagent series of our company. This product has a fast foaming rate and strong foaming ability. And it is suitable for the beneficiation of non-ferrous metal ores and rare precious metal ores, especially for non-ferrous metal ores with a high proportion of target minerals and high content of argillaceous gangue. Meanwhile it is an excellent substitute for international product.

The original solution of frother Q60 is added with a dosage of 5-60g/t of raw ore. Please refer to the actual on-site usage for specific usage.

Function of foaming agent

1. Prevent bubble coalescence, so that bubbles dispersed in the slurry have a smaller diameter and a certain lifespan.

2. Increase the mechanical strength of bubbles.

3. Reduce the velocity of bubbles and increase their residence time in the slurry.

4. Stable bubbles, their type and dosage affect the size, viscosity, and brittleness of bubbles, and affect flotation speed.

5. Coadsorb with the collector on the surface of the ore particles and have a synergistic effect.

6. Coexistence with the collector in micelles affects the critical micelle concentration of the collector.

7. Foaming agents can be used to emulsify or accelerate the dissolution of the collector.

8. It can increase the selectivity of the flotation process.
