Mining Collector Sodium Isobutyl Xanthate for Copper, Nickel, Lead, Sulphide Ore Flotation
Mechanism of action
The collector reaction product is adsorbed on the surface of the mineral. For example, xanthate acts on the surface of sulfide minerals or oxidizes in the slurry to generate hydrocarbon-based thiocarbonate (ROCOS-) and perxanthate (ROCSSO-), which can be adsorbed on the surface of oxide minerals and sulfide minerals to produce effects.
