Introduction
Xanthate is widely used in the rubber industry as a vulcanization accelerator, potassium ethyl xanthate as a precipitant and colorimetric reagent for copper, nickel and other metal ions in analytical chemistry, xanthate as a reagent for precipitation of cobalt and nickel from solution in the metallurgy xanthate industry and metallurgy oxidulose, as a synthetic fiber.
