High Efficiency Sulfur Depressant DS101 For Pyrite And Pyrrhotite
Depressant DS101 is a highly efficient depressant for pyrite and pyrrhotite. This product is a self-developed green and environmentally friendly product. It is suitable for the beneficiation process of copper ore, lead zinc ore, copper lead zinc ore, etc. It can restrain pyrite and pyrrhotite under low or no alkaline conditions. Meanwhile, it has almost no suppressed effect on chalcopyrite, galena, sphalerite, etc., and can completely or partially replace lime. The product has low usage and good results.
This product can be added to the original solution or diluted with water before use. The reference dosage is 50-300 g/ton, and the specific dosage is recommended to be adjusted according to the actual situation on site.

The mechanism of action for this pyrite depressant involves its reaction with the surface of pyrite upon introduction into the slurry. Consequently, the treated pyrite is unable to enter the flotation foam layer and instead becomes a foam product, facilitating the separation of pyrite from the desired target minerals.
