Light yellow or gray white powder (or granule) with irritating odor. It can dissolve in water and alcohol and form insoluble compounds with various metal ions.

PBX 90% 85% is a flotation reagent with strong collecting ability and is widely used in the mixed flotation of various non-ferrous metal sulfide ores.
